Located in the high desert country of the Colorado Plateau, Arches National Park leaves visitors with the impression of wandering into a natural stone arch convention. Spires, balancing rocks, stone fins, and the namesake arches all abound here, congregating together underneath a sweeping Utah sky. No other place in the world offers such a high concentration of stone arch work: more than 2,000 of these natural formations populate the park. Thanks to diligent park planning, many of these eroded masterpieces can be admired up-close. Pictured here is the world-famous Delicate Arch in a timeless, early 20th-century style design by award-winning Anderson Design Group.
